When you process your payroll using the Paychex Preview® payroll application, you have access to a powerful yet flexible report writer. This easy-to-use feature offers you over 100 standard reports, making it easier to manage your company’s requirements each pay period.

What We Offer

Payroll Summary

Summarizing your most recently processed payroll, this report includes check counts and totals for direct deposit, paychecks, and new payroll, as well as manual, void, and agency checks.

Payroll Register

This report saves you time and effort by providing you with detailed payroll information for all employees after payroll is processed for the pay period.

Check Reconciliation Report

An important reference tool, this report lists all of the paychecks and direct deposits issued for the payroll period, including check number, employee number, and net amount.

Payroll Tax Report

This report provides a summary of all the employee and employer taxes for the pay period, as well as the total net liability — essentially documenting the total cash amount required to cover your payroll.

New Hire Report

This report lists all new and rehired employees reported to the state.

Customized Reporting

Customize your reporting options with the flexibility to create reports quickly, using any of the information in your payroll database. With the fully-integrated report writer feature, you also have the ability to choose your date ranges, output method, data selections, and print formatting.
